-United for Adoption
UFA has put together what looks like a very promising conference. It’s been on my calendar for months already!
Among other classes (one on infertility taught by a dear friend of mine) and panels (birth parent panel and open adoption relationship in the digital age panel), the conference keynote speaker will be Amy Iverson from KSL Newsradio “The Browsers”. She is a professional woman, wife, mother and was also adopted.
Something a little different about this conference are the parenting classes–Positive Parenting and Resources for Parenting Children with ADHD, FAS, Sensory Processing.
There will also be a vendor area featuring The R House Couture! We will have the last of the clothing we are making, handstamped jewelry with personalization available and some great gift ideas for the holidays. Please stop by and say hello.
The conference will be in Orem, Utah at UVU on Saturday, November 9th. To see all the details on the conference, to register, see the schedule and a scope out the complete list of vendors, go to the UFA Conference Event Page.
Now for the fun part …a giant giveaway in true National Adoption Awareness Month Style.
If you think this conference would benefit someone you love, I hope you’ll share this flash giveaway with them. The giveaway closes at midnight on November 5th (MST). I hope to see you all there!
