Seeing Pink

C and I had a fun conversation this morning …and well, we are officially still seeing PINK at The R House. That’s right, Baby Bean is a little girl.

My next door neighbor (and fill-in grandparents to my family) as well as my two best ladies (Kim and Leisha) have known this the whole time–they are the ones who gave us all the girlie things we own (see above). I needed to make sure (best 3 out of 4 ultrasounds) before I could officially let the ruffles and jeans with pink stitching and tutu purchasing parties begin.

We are humbled and thrilled (and rightfully terrified) with the thought of having a little girl in R family. Baby Bean will be the second granddaughter on my family’s side. She will have a great girly teacher in my darling fashionista niece, 4 years her senior and Baby Bean will also be the first granddaughter in Mr. R’s family (after 5 grandsons.)

Thank you, C for letting us be on this journey with you. We are thrilled to welcome you into The R House as well …and we really hope that you love ridiculous pairs of socks. ;)

Your oldest daughter was right, we do really love you.

XO

Tear? Ugh. Lol. STOP IT! I know Summer was right! Those outfits are TOO cute. I know that she will not want for love or a father within R family.

So happy to be able to provide a gift. Bittersweet. (Speaking of sweet, names??????? Lol)

I am thrilled for you! You will LOVE having a girl! We have two sons (both adopted and 3 yrs apart) and then got our sweet Sadie (Also adopted and a maracle story). She is a joy and so much fun! Her brothers will do anything for her. She has us wrapped around her cute little finger. Congratulations! That is just so neat!

I still peak on your blog most every day. I got hooked on it when we were going through all our infertility stuff, and there was a lot of it! :) We now have 4 children so are no longer on the journey of adoption, but I still find myself peaking at your blog all the time. I absolutely love it! I just wanted to let you know how happy I am for you and your family. I can’t wait to see this little girl of yours. She will be a princess for sure!!! Sooo happy for you guys!
