Last weekend we went to visit Josh’s parents who were in Las Vegas for a conference.
We had a blast being spoiled by grandparents whom we only see a handful of times a year.
Mr. R and I went on lots of dates while we were there. One night we ended up at the Nike Store after dinner were I saw the following quote from Coach K hanging on the wall.
I was totally inspired by it.
Do not build artificial walls that bind you.
And do not let others build them around you.
You are braver than you know.
You are more creative than you give yourself credit for.
I needed to hear this today. Thank you so much!

Reminds me of a quote I have on my fridge that I read in a book called “The Open Adoption Experience,” it says: “Walls are impenetrable. Boundaries allow for decisions to be made about when they can be crossed. Walls are put up by fearful people, willing to sacrifice some possible good to be sure that all the bad will be kept out.” Obviously it is a little longer, but I liked it too!
