Disclosure Policy

I am a blogger. I love to write. I love to share. I love to educate. And sometimes I get paid a little to do it. This blog accepts forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other forms of compensation. This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. For questions about this blog, please contact me, Lindsey Redfern.

I strongly believe in being honest with my readers and blogging with integrity. I trust you and I hope that I have earned your trust. This blog abides by word of mouth marketing standards. I believe in honesty of relationship, opinion and identity. The compensation received may influence the advertising content, topics or posts made in this blog. That content, advertising space or post will be clearly identified as paid or sponsored content. My promise to you is that if I receive compensation in any way for a post or product/service, I will disclose it clearly to you. I will always let you know if I am affiliated in any way with the company or service that I write about.

As the owner of this blog, I am sometimes compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics. Even though I may receive compensation for some of my posts or advertisements, I always give my honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on those topics or products. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely the bloggers’ own. When I review something I will always give you an honest review–what I liked and what I didn’t like. My opinion is all my own. That’s just how I roll.

Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.

I have blog sponsors (see “R Sponsor’s” section on my sidebar) that pay to advertise on my site. The couples listed on the Hoping to Adopt page have all paid a minimal one-time fee for me to list them.

I also want to make this very clear: I am not an adoption facilitator. I do not match expectant parents and adoptive parents for money. I do not place children.

With that out of the way, I hope you feel like you can take a deep breath and feel comfortable and at home here at The R House.
