Today’s Adoption Good News comes from Jennifer who was adopted and reunited with her birth family. Such an inspiring message!

Because my birth mother choose adoption I had the childhood she always wanted. It was stable and loving. I always knew I was adopted so I was always appreciative of my parents and my brother (I never told him that). I got to have a large extended family many, many cousins, aunts and uncles. And of course my grandparents.
Last September I reunited with my birth mother and her awesome family. I now have a sister, another brother, my birth mom and her husband. We live in different states so we have really only been face-to-face a few times, but we talk everyday and it feels like we have never been apart.
I even had a chance to meet with my birth father’s sister-in-law who is actually my cousin’s aunt. Wow! Small world! AND I got to learn about my birth father who passed away in ‘99.

I can’t express how much they all mean to me, my parents and birth family all together.. so awesome.
