In a few short days we are heading to the temple to have our fifth baby sealed to us, Baby Lincoln. (Or “Winky Woo” as Norah calls him.)
Having all 5 of my kiddos in the sealing room with Josh and me is a dream come true. I remember when Tyson was born having a little day dream (vision? revelation? prophecy?) of our future family in the sealing room together in a variety of skin tones. And that’s exactly where we are today.
My cup runneth over. Like all over the floor, messy as all-get-out, runneth over.
Last night my kiddos read a book for Family Night about a multicultural adoptive family counting down to their special temple day. It’s called 10 Days Until Forever. Even with toddlers running around like crazy, it was such sweet little moment with my people. We are counting down to our forever!
Right before Norah was sealed to us, we decided to start SELLING it in our shop (for cheaper than Amazon Prime, btw.) We only have a limited number of copies, but I really wanted to share this book with my community! My friend, Kim, came and took some photos of us reading it together.
All the heart eyes!
If you’re looking for a great gift for LDS Adoptive Families, this is it. If they are preparing for the temple or want to read a beautifully illustrated picture book to help remember their special day, this book has it covered. I know I sound like QVC right now, but I honestly love it. xo
Preparing for a temple sealing after an adoption? Here’s an article I wrote for LDS Living about it. xoxo
